UL Outdoor/Indoor White Polyester Labels
#102250 - UL MATTE PERMANENT POLYESTER
This 2.3 mil white polyester 3M label with a 1.1 mil acrylic permanent self-adhesive are UL approved printing materials – Component and British Standard 5609. The Facestock is radiant white and resists degradation from scuffing, chemicals, and wide temperature fluctuations. Prints extremely well in color and black and white laser printers (For HP: Tuff Setting). Available in 8.5″ × 11″, 8.5″ × 14″, 8.5″ × 17″, and 8.5″ × 19″.
The self-adhesive bonds to high and low energy plastic surfaces, textured, and contoured surfaces, powder coatings including textured powder coatings, and slightly oily metals. The adhesive is a clear acrylic, has an excellent resistance to chemicals even at high temperatures, and is adaptable to many surfaces with a minimum application temperature of 50°F and a service range -40°F to 302°F.

Description:
This label features a standard pressure sensitive construction including a 2.3 mil laser-printable matte polyester Facestock that has excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability. This material features an aggressive adhesive that shows good initial tack, high shear strength, and excellent clarity. The clay-coated kraft liner has been coated one side to give a controlled release. This product is a UL approved printing material.
Facestock:
- 2.3 mil white top-coated polyester with a very smooth matte finish. It has excellent tear strength, heat resistance and dimensional stability while the top-coating offers excellent laser toner receptivity.

- Clear acrylic adhesive featuring good removability on a wide range of substrates including corrugated and many plastic surfaces.

Note: For best bonding conditions, application surface should be at room temper-ature or higher. Low temperature surfaces, below 40°F can cause the adhesive to become so firm that it will not develop maximum contact with the substrate. Higher initial bonds can be achieved through increased rubdown pressure. In order to get a true measure of the adhesive’s effectiveness, the label should be applied and allowed to bond a minimum of 24 hours prior to evaluation.
